In a fit of "let's register another domain"itis the other day I registered pqphotos.com. I've had (over the years) a few different photo galleries on my site. Most recently I couldn't be bothered making gallery work so I just told apache or lighttpd (I forget which server photos.patrick.geek.nz points to) to redirect to flickr.
However, with the introduction of those super nifty moo minicards I realised I should have a website that displayed my photos in a way I had more control over. Sure, I've done experiments with generating flickr slideshows. This is something different: this is a website that will have no pages except galleries (with a small amount of text space). It'll have a web2.0 style admin interface (part of which even exists already!) Most importantly it'll be an address I can leave on the back of cards and hopefully someone will visit it and then demand to go out with me.
I am a guy, after all :)
