Sunday night I saw The Rolling Stones, live, in concert, with my very own eyes. When they shifted the stage out in the crowd, we were just 4 rows away. Wowser. They might look old (oh boy do they, at least their faces), but they can sure play.
Tomorrow sees the beginning of the real adventure. I fly out of Auckland is less than 24 hours, with very little idea of where I'm going, or indeed much of how I'm getting there. Oh, I have hostel booked for a week (have to have somewhere to rest my head after all), but I don't know where it is in any real sense.
I've applied for a few jobs, but not knowing where they are, or even who many of these companies are makes this harder. I'm not one to limit my options, so some of the jobs are outside Vancouver (a couple in Ontario somewhere). If I get interviews or offers I guess it's not that far of a stretch to see me move over that direction.
I'm thinking I'll spend the first few days looking around, perhaps figuring out places that are worth working in while in Vancouver. If a job crops up then I guess finding somewhere more "permanent" to live is in the cards.
Updates will appear here as I have internet access. I know I will for the 7 days I'm at the hostel, but after that... well, heck, it's me, you know I'll have internet access.
