So MacBU went and released another update for Office 2004 - bringing us to 11.2.3. Why should you care about this update? Just like 11.2 most of the love is heading towards Entourage (which I'm totally cool with by the way - it's the only Microsoft software product I use every single day directly, er, other than my phone). This release gives us spotlight support and integration with sync services (so that's sync to both Address Book and Calendar, plus, say, your other devices, and even cooler is that they let you synchronise entourage notes using .Mac). So far no issues, though I don't really anticipate anything. Question is - does the spotlight importer / sync services integration work on intel macs? Sadly I don't have one of my own yet to test it on.
fseventer: a really neat way of seeing what's going on in your file system. Set something going, make this full screen and it looks like your computer is super busy hard at work. Sadly eventually it goes gray if you don't have anything running that touches the hard drive periodically.
US Visas: I booked my interview to acquire one. Here's hoping that "well, really I'm going to Canada for the year, I've got funds, I plan to work there, I only want to visit the US a couple of times" is enough to actually get me a visa. (I don't really have that much tying me to New Zealand, except for a whole lot of furniture (oh, and some family). 13 days left of work...
