Yep. It's that time again, it's a new design for soapbox. This time it's bringing it into line with the introducing patrick site.
Where's the inspiration? Well, the reflective image comes from toying around in iWeb. The way articles are displayed (and their sidebar) comes from the Hemingway themes.
This release also drops the "internal" DoubleShot, instead outsourcing it to ma.gnolia - which has its issues (for one thing they don't have an api, so I'm stuck with their document.write()ing javascript), along with downtime, but it's much nicer (go tags!) than rolling it myself.
With that I'm down to 5 weeks left at Victoria. The time has really flown. Quite where to I'm not sure, but such is life. I thinking I should have some kind of "I'm leaving, let's celebrate!" type thing. At this stage thinking that title up is as far as it gets.
(And yes, I'm quite aware of the fact that this design is more like traditional blogs in some ways than the version name might suggest. I like that.)
