I'm Here

Well, I arrived. 13 Hours of flying, 3 hours of sitting around in air ports, and some how not sleeping at all. So I'm tired. I have however found my lodgings, an Apple store where I purchased cygnet (a PowerBook G4 1.5GHz 12"), and the Moscone Centre West, where WWDC shall be. I tasted Coca Cola Classic which is almost like ours except much sweeter. I shall try C2, and advise you all of it's worthiness.

Amazingy here you can buy Coke with Lime, without the Diet. I shall have to try that too.

San Francisco airport reminded me a lot of Sydney, just in appearance once you got through customs I think, and having to go up a level to get a shuttle. Those shuttles... wow. From the outside the looked like an old van the bad guys drive in say Home Alone/Home Alone 2, but on the inside are very obviously new.

Weather here is somewhat similar to a Wellington summer... it's windy but still quite warm.

The freeway/motorway thing we drove in on... shocking. Bumpy as hell. Quite an experience.

It turns out my roomate is also going to WWDC (excpet he's presenting something... some kind of game thingy, I'm not sure of the specifics).

Tonight I had dinner at a diner, had the Burger King kind of sound going, but with good food. I gave my first tip. The next 5 days shall be rather full of conferencing, which other than the Keynote I'm limited in what I can speak about. What I can I shall pass on.
