Today I thought about going to China Town (by way of the cable car) but the lines were horrible.
So I thought I'd give my feet a rest and came down to Metreon (which is kind of like a mall, in that it has a movie theatre, and shops, but not quite as generic a mall as you'd find in New Zealand), and watched The Honeymooners (which was quite funny), and I've perused some shops, seen some things that I might buy later in the week.
I need to find some postcards (they were plentiful next to the line for the cable car coming back from Fisherman's Wharf, but not exactly accessible when you're stuck in line) to send off. So it's pretty much guaranteed that people will get them after I return, but I shall send them from here, and that's the important thing.
I ended up having dinner there (USD$8) which was a huge plate of fried rice, a couple of spring rolls, and a delicious Chicken salad. I came back to the hostel and somehow the last 5 hours have just disappeared into downloading music from the iTunes Music Store, and just chatting online.
