Was in my first car accident in ages today, Jake, myself and Donald were off to Johnsonville to have BoB (Baron of Beef) for lunch. We didn't get there, because Jake drove into the back of a truck. I swear the truck suddenly braked, but obviously I can't be 100% certain of that.
Jake and I were basically unharmed, Donald got a cut obove his eye from his glasses. This is a testament to the way cars are designed and to wearing seatbelts. If before I wore one simply to avoid a fine I now will wear one because it probably saved us from suffering major injuries.
My chest is a little sore, as is my back, and I've got some cool bruising from the seatbelt, but other than that it was not too bad. I think we all suffered from shock really.
So yes, wear a setbelt.
