It's been quite some time since my last proper entry. A week or two perhaps. Working 7 days a week (~ 58hours) tends to somewhat eliminate any time you might have in which to be creative. Don't think this is complaining - it makes the time go really fast (it's nearly the end of January), and it means I'm saving money. Well, actually I just spent money and will spend more but that's not the point.
Working at $employer[1] has been good - I enjoy the work, and look forward to going each day. Also $employer[0] may cease to be $employer[0] at some point in the future, but that's ok, as if that's so it will be by way of redundancy.
I had some one question why I would use precious not doing things time to write a script to automate some steps we take. My explanation is that while I am lazy, I'm willing to have short bursts of productivity in order to allow more laziness later. Especially when it comes to relatively repetitive tasks.
I'm accumulating photos (as usual, on the devices) and will make some time to crop/resize them for decade in the next couple of days hopefully. I'd also like to do a new release of Decades at some stage - the current "release" is rather out of touch with the reality of the site. I'm not sure how much in the way of extra features I've added since then, though.
And it's been hot the last few of days. God forbid Wellington might have some good weather. How dare it! Especially when I'm trying to sleep, then the temperature should be perfect.
