What not to do on a Sunday Evening

Step on the cable that provides precious precious DC power to your iBook. More importantly, do not do this in such a way as the pin in the middle bends. If, by chance, you have not yet followed these instructions, do not, whatever you do, try and straighten that pin. It will break. And you will be grumpy.

Luckily, however, you didn't do this on a Saturday evening, so there is hope that you may be able to acquire a new 45w power supply on Monday morning.

Also luckily your iBook is fully charged, and you have a family member's laptop, which handily has iTunes installed (from a prior visit), and FireFox. You are therefor able to copy essential listening tunes over (for the long night's sleep ahead), and a browser worthy of using for browsing.

Just remember: stupid power adapters are stupid.
