I finally got sick of the look of comments on my site/my LJ. I have remedied this situation.

It however does not work in Internet Explorer for some god damn unknown reason. So you don't get them. I have created a justie.css stylesheet (included by onscreen.css, only if you are using IE) which drops the background images. Then it works fine. I have no intention of going any further to fix a bug in browser that I neither use nor like. I suggest you upgrade to a browser that has been worked on in the last two years, namely Firefox or buy a mac and use Safari. (That's kind of a joke. Only kind of.)

I hacked at my s2 style, and it works quite nicely. I'll hack more on other areas later. Much later.
