iBook faults and Apple's Response

iBook Logic Board Repair Extension Program. Apple has, seemingly with no fanfare what so ever, announced that they will replace logic boards that exhibit the fault that I saw twice. The iBook Logic Board Repair Extension Program is a worldwide program covering repair or replacement of the logic board in specific iBook models manufactured between May 2002 and April 2003 that are experiencing specific component failures.

This strikes me as them finally accepting responsibility. But then, it doesn't really affect me anymore, so that's ok. I just want my machine to arrive, so I can return to wirelessly networking. Darn it though, now I shall be inclined to purchase a g base station. Darn it. Stupid world.

PM Thanks for the link - I feel a lot better about my iBook now (with which I have had no problems... yet...)

PM It's quite a relief to have them (at least to some extent) admit that there is something wrong that needs to be protected by an extra 'program'.
