Good day, internet user.

This is shift 4 of 5 for this 40 hour week. I'm now nearly half way through it, and this post will probably not make it up until a little later on in the night.

Tonight at work I cleaned out the water cooler. There was this odd green ring in the base unit that had developed a tendency to growl whenever you approached, so I decided action needed to be taken. Now by clean out I mean replaced the water in the bottle, and then rinsed with hot water (several times) the cooler half of the thing, and then bleached it, rinsed it several times, and then refilled bottle, and returned it to service.

Oh yeah, the iBook keyboard situation has gotten much much worse. Now it holds down: F1, 1, q, a, z, F11 and F12. Those of you who know what F1 and F12 do on an iBook keyboard will know what this is a problem. F11 is also my play/pause key for Synergy. It started on Saturday evening, happened from cold boot at starbucks Sunday afternoon, and after my nap happened 10mins after cold boot before coming in to work.

Hmm, and during the day I was rudely awaken by a flatmate banging on my door informing some bastard had the gall to phone me. It turned out to be damok, who suggested lunch in town. Feeling the need to do a little light shopping, I decided I might as well. Coyote Bar's Hangover Cure (which I supsect might actually make a hangover worse) was actually very tasty. Poached eggs not quite as good as home, but I'm not really complaining.

That is about all I have to say about today. now to try and post...

Things to remember: Listen to this song (made with GarageBand). Create new categories/.htaccess rules for: Books, DVDs, and CDs. Primarily with the idea that they will hold lists of what I own, as I buy them. If I could be bothered I could make a button, or reuse the Current Music field, or some other UI element in b2 to make it a "I own this on DVD", and reuse my /Movies category. Fix /pl. Not quite sure when it died, or how. I'm sure it would be easier to handle now that I have a better grasp on mod_rewrite. /pl/([0-9]+) would do the trick easily. Now, if only I knew where the script is...

Oh yeah, and LJ is being a piece of crap, Santa cluster has gone read only for the second time in the last 24 hours. I didn't notice it yesterday, having no useable iBook.
