Last night I worked, and had amusing prank calls.
Today (being Sunday) I have
done very little, but that is just me.
Tonight (still being Sunday, but heading into Monday) I decided to make
a new CSS file for my website. So I did. It's funky. It is called 'groupie', because I was bored and that was the
name that came to mind when I made the folder in my iBooks Sites folder to test it locally.
Then I decided it
would be fun to make a Style Switcher for my site. So I did. Style
Chooser it is called. It works across all of my site, and it remembers your prefs for 100 days between hits to anything
on the site. The only place it doesn't work, for no known reason, is on the portal. shrug. I thought it used
pftqgbase_noxml, but it might not I guess. Might go check...
Oh yeah, and then I decided, wouldn't it be
cool if the style you chose followed you on my LJ pages? Well now it does! Now I only have to get around to coding my S2
style, and then everyone would want to have a preference set!
Or not, maybe it's just my imagination. Me
and my imagination just sitting alone in a quiet dark box. Yeah, that sounds more right it does.
The new
(groupie) stylesheet required no changes to any of the XHTML of the site. None. Included in the style options is a 'no
style' option. Great for at work when IE4 screws anything up it can. Oh yeah.
