Well, I'm here by myself (essentially, I'm the only one answering phones), and of course the great majority are noise complaints. Here's my funny one for this evening...
Guy calls in to complain about loud 80s music coming from somewhere on his street. Fine, stand down applies, call back and I'll pass it on. I do so. About 40 minutes later, I get a call from the guard company. Apparantly the guy is complaining about himself... on investigation he found out that the noise was actually coming from his own garage where a radio/stereo had been left on.
Not sucky, just stupid, and it brightened up mine, the guard dispatch, and the guard paging service peoples mornings :)
Oh yeah, now 4 hours in. And said guard company and I nutted out they could just fax updates to me instead of phoning, me writing down. Is good, and means I get things even more right :). So far things are going ok. Should go handle some actions shortly though...
