Two Weeks

I've had my iBook for two weeks now, and already I'm thinking "How on earth did I ever live in Windows?". I'm by no means a beginner, so the ability to have a full unix back end is really proving to be useful. Little things still urk me: like the incosistent behaviour of the Home Key, and the lack of an apparant easy way to get back to the beginning of a line.

The ability to pull it out while waiting for someone, and know that while you may only have 5 minutes to wait, you'll able to use 4 minutes, 55 seconds, at least, to do actual work in. Pull out, go. And with the addition of the airport card, being able to whip on to a wireless network. Yeah, yeah, sure Windows pc's have 802.11b too, but it's just easier on Mac, and the iBook does have the best wireless reception out there...

Hmm, payed the US$5 for Synergy. I believe this is a landmark: the first shareware I've ever registered, as in actually paid for, as in not got a serial number off th net. (This is the point where go 'wow'!) This could be the start of a very expensive period of my life.

Should download Konfabulator and give it a try. Maybe I'll like it enough to buy it too.
