Tonight I made a really really hard decision. I closed soapbox.co.nz.
It's bizzare the emotional attachment you get to something so intagible, so 0 and 1ish, but I do. I feel sad. Soapbox has been 'that thing that I've done' for so long. But I just don't have the time or the energy - let alone the patience to administer a local copy of IIS to work on the site. I'll probably hang on to the domain, simply because I may try to relaunch it later this year.
In any case, it's sad to see it go.
It's time to start work on Socomox, and I may even try and get Soapbox-v3 to run on it, perhaps as an example of it's prowess. But then again, maybe not.
Anyone feel like owning soapbox.co.nz?
