I'm sitting in the SCS cybercommons, mainly because the tut I thought was happening obviously wasn't, so I guess they don't start until next week. Bugger! Oh well.
I read All About This Particular Mac today (the Mar'03 edition). Damn cool. And quite fun to be able to just open the iBook and continue reading, close the lid and put it away. It goes in & out of sleep so nice and fast!
Battery is also proving to not be a downer. Who knows if I'll ever get 5 hours out of it (possible, I guess, if just playing mp3s with the screen off, maybe even longer), but today it's done pretty well. I dare it's been running for over 2 hours, and we're still sitting with 61% battery power, or 2hours 45mins remaing according to my menu bar. It's helped by me: not using the network, not using a usb optical mouse. Or in fact anything external.
Damo, Phil and I met up with icebubbles for a lunch/drink/catch up today. Good old galleria, serving cafe style food at cafe style prices. It was tasty though.
I should really considering going home, don't know why I'm hanging around here right now. Oh well.
