Did some work on my existing design, which thanks to the wonders of CSS automagically propogated itself to LJ (well, more specifically, LJ uses my stylesheet).
I've also added a cool feature (though this won't be in LJ for a while yet)... if you print any page on pftqg.com with a fairly decent browser (post IE5 generation browsers should do it... ie IE6 and Phoenix work, so Netscape7, Netscape6, Mozilla etc. should all work fine), and it will print with the 'for print' stylesheet. (Actually, as long as my lj/website look nice and green backgrounded, it should print fine). This knocks out all the menus, colours the text black, on a white background, and puts a special for-print copyright at the bottom. Give it a try! (You can Print Preview in moz/phoenix/n7&6 - it should look right. Don't trust IE6's print preview. It basically shows me an unstyled page... not like it actually looks in ink).
But yeah, it prints cool!
I'm going to play with transparancy as well in the next week or so, I'm quite happy with my design, and not too hasty about replacing it. Tweaking colours maybe? As said, I'm happy with it.
